This lady used to ride the brewry horses in to stormy sea off Eastbourne to launch the Lifeboat.
She married Richard Erridge and they had 10 children (that survived) Benjamin, Jane, Amy, Daisy, Elsie,John,Caroline,Fredrick, George and Rosa.

No big white frock as there was a war on and clothes were rationed,
The picture shows both sets of my great grandparents, Granny was stationed in Aldershot with ATS and granddad was Royal Navy protecting food convoys.
